In order to apply the bylaw rules, and to guarantee everyone’s safety on the site, the circuit du Laquais management warns:

- The racetrack is open from 9:00 to 12:00am and from 2:00 to 5.30pm (closing at sundown, around 5.15pm in winter).

-Every vehicle has to be in good condition (main body, mechanical engineering, brakes, and shock absorbers).

- Every vehicle has to be equipped with an exhaust pipe of car manufacturer origin said standard, in very good condition. If a vehicle doesn’t correspond to the noise pollution norms, it won’t be allowed to go on the track.

- Every sliding on dry racetrack is strictly prohibited because of noise pollution. DRIFT is forbidden.

- Every behaviour judged dangerous by the racetrack supervisor and every repeated driving out will instantly lead to the exclusion of the circuit with no refund.

- Safety helmet and harness or belt must be worn, this is compulsory for the driver and the passenger.

- No passenger is allowed to sit at the back of the car. The passenger needs to be aged ten or over.

-The number of vehicles allowed at the same time on the racetrack is limited to 15. Beyond sessions of 20 minutes are organized by the racetrack supervisor.

-When the racetrack is exclusively rented, the persons in charge of the day management have to deal with the accesses and exits in order to limit to 15 the number of vehicles that are driving at the same time.

- If a vehicle has been driven out and needs an intervention, no one is allowed to go on the circuit but the Laquais staff, unless if a prior agreement has been established.

- The damages provoked by a driving out (in a crash barrier) will be invoiced to the driver of the vehicle. – The private individual sessions are prohibited on Sunday and bank holiday afternoons.

Method to measure the vehicles’ noise

- The sound level meter is installed 7.5m away from the line of the vehicle path and 1.20m above the road level plane.

- The sound pressure’s maximum level is raised when the vehicle goes by, using the A-frequency-weighting and the F-time-weighting of the sound level meter.

- Concerning the vehicle’s speed and the engine’s rotational speed when the vehicle goes by in front of the sound meter level:

- The measuring is realized when the vehicle goes into third gear. The vehicle’s speed is 50km/h (30 miles/h).10m before the sound level meter, the driver goes “full throttle”.We take into account the highest record between the right side and the left side.

- The permitted maximum level is 80dB SPL for Sedans and 84dB SPL for single-seaters.

- This method of measure, called  method in movement is defined by the European regulations which are totally asserted by the French regulations. This method has been given to us by the French organization UTAC (Union technique de l’automobile, du motocycle et du cycle).
